She has never gone to a traditional Vet because I don’t even think I could get her in a carrier, she is that spicy. They were truly a gift from God, and sent by Him to help, encourage, and support us as we navigated new territory with our cat needing an emergency surgery recently. The doctor and nurse to come to our home were wise, knowledgeable, and caring. They worked so well as a team and gave us all the answers to the questions and concerns we had. The nurse even gave us treats for our cat for future use. The receptionist at BlueSky was also vital in our cat receiving her emergency surgery by giving us the information on a clinic we could book with that was nearby our home. She was very kind and encouraging, giving us the reassurance that our cat would be okay and will get what she needed. Our dogs have never been on a leash or in a car or crate since arriving at our home. We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Lucas was patient and thorough with the examination and I learned things I didn't know about Boba to help me keep an eye on her health better. Cameron was great with cleaning Boba's ears and handled her with patience as well. Amazing team, amazing care! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. She previously served as an associate veterinarian at Spring Hill Animal Hospital in the Houston area, later returning to Dallas to work with The Vets as a mobile veterinarian. In November 2025, she founded LuxePet Mobile Vet, building strong relationships within the local pet community and collaborating with groomers, trainers, and pet sitters to support her patients and clients. Dr. Key earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and completed her clinical year at Texas A&M University; she is also Fear Free certified. She is motivated by the bonds she forms with pets and their families and enjoys making veterinary care more accessible and less stressful. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, attending community events with her dogs Willie Nelson and Scout, and spending time with her husband, four dogs, and one very spoiled cat. A fun fact about Dr. Key is that she spent three weeks in South Africa during vet school working with a wide range of exotic animals.
Dr. Matthias Mitra
Veterinarian
Dr. Matthias Mitra is a dedicated BlueSky At-Home small animal veterinarian with a strong focus on providing thoughtful, relationship-based care to pets and their families. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Brandeis University, where he founded and led the pre‑veterinary society, and went on to complete his veterinary degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London, England. Clinically, his interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and exotic pet medicine, and he is known for his calm, clear communication with clients during both routine visits and more complex cases. At Sova Animal Hospital, Dr. Mitra was a trusted partner to pet owners, working closely with them to make well‑informed medical decisions that fit each animal’s needs and each family’s lifestyle. Outside of practice, he enjoys time with his family, traveling, playing soccer, and caring for his saltwater reef tank.
Dr. Laura Wiles
Veterinarian
Dr. Laura Wiles is a Dallas, Texas based BlueSky At-Home veterinarian with a special focus on providing calm, high quality care through house call appointments. She is dedicated to patient comfort and client satisfaction, taking time to understand each pet’s home environment and health needs. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1994, she taught elementary school before returning to Texas A&M for veterinary school, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Wiles began her career in general practice, then served as an overnight emergency veterinarian for four years. She later worked with NVA as Medical Director at the Animal Hospital of Garland. Her professional interests include feline medicine, dermatology, and nutrition. A fun fact about Dr. Wiles is that she grew up in England while her father served as an Air Force pilot.
Shelby Andres

Shelby Andres is a Veterinary Technician at BlueSky At-Home based in Dallas, Texas, with nearly a decade of hands-on experience in both clinic and mobile settings. From 2017 to 2021, she worked in two brick and mortar clinics, where she gained strong skills in wellness care, urgent care, and some emergency medicine. For the past five years, Shelby has been part of the Readivet team as a mobile veterinary technician, assisting with in home appointments, wellness and urgent care, as well as surgery and dentistry. Her focus is always on keeping patients comfortable and stress free, especially in their own homes where they can relax more easily. Shelby has a special interest in dentistry and enjoys educating clients so they feel confident about their pet’s care. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, her cat Brady, and her dog Oso.
Meredith Moomaw

Meredith “Mere” Moomaw is a CSR and Veterinary Assistant based in Dallas, Texas, and a trusted face of BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care. As the first point of contact for the clinic, she manages client communications, coordinates scheduling, and helps ensure every visit feels calm, clear, and well organized from the very first interaction. With more than 20 years in veterinary medicine, including a decade supervising surgery and wellness at the SPCA of Texas and roles with VCA, CityVet, Hillside, and Dr. Stacie House Call Vet, Mere brings deep technical skill and a special focus on house call care. She has completed extensive continuing education with an emphasis on aging pets and behavior. Known for her soft spot for senior animals, she is dedicated to keeping them comfortable at home. Outside of work, she fosters for Dallas Animal Services and the SPCA of Texas and enjoys family time, photography, and backyard gatherings with her husband, two daughters, and five dogs.
Tara Cantwell

Tara Cantwell, LVT, brings more than two decades of veterinary expertise to BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care in Dallas. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician with an associate’s degree in applied sciences from Cedar Valley College, Tara focuses on attentive client service, thorough patient care, and practical owner education. Her career includes 21 years at VCA in general practice and specialty medicine, including five years caring for critical patients as an ICU nurse for dogs and cats. Tara believes that ongoing learning and adapting proven techniques keep her skills sharp, and she takes pride in teaching owners how to support their pets’ health in ways that fit their lives. She also takes a personal interest in home health care and improving daily husbandry for her patients. Outside of work, Tara volunteers with the American Legion, leading efforts to support veterans and hosting outreach for homeless service members. When not caring for animals or giving back to her community, Tara enjoys crafts and deep-sea fishing.
Tayla Grace
Customer Service Representative
Tayla Grace is a BlueSky At-Home Client Service Representative in Boston and a veterinary technician with experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, and mobile veterinary medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology and plays a key role in triaging patients, coordinating appointment scheduling and routing, managing medical records and prescription requests, and supporting seamless communication between clients and medical teams. Tayla has a strong focus on client guidance during stressful situations and takes care to ensure that pets receive timely, appropriate care. She is especially passionate about mobile veterinary practice, where in-home visits can reduce anxiety, support pets that cannot travel, and improve comfort for both animals and their families. Outside of work, Tayla volunteers with a local dog rescue by interviewing adopter references and transporting dogs, and she spends her free time exploring nature and looking for wildlife in forests, along the coast, and in other outdoor spaces.

Samantha Kinsey is a Customer Service Representative based in Dallas, supporting BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care with a warm, solutions-focused approach. She manages daily scheduling, record keeping, and prescription requests, and serves as a key communication link between clients, veterinarians, and technicians to help address questions and concerns quickly and clearly. Samantha began her career as a CSR and spent much of her professional life as a veterinary technician in general practice, emergency, and urgent care, including roles with two other mobile veterinary teams in Dallas, where she discovered her passion for house call medicine. She brings well rounded clinical insight and a special interest in exotic pets to every interaction, helping clients feel informed and at ease. Outside of work, Samantha and her boyfriend are avid video game, board game, and movie fans, and at home she stays busy with her rabbit Bastas and two dogs, Link and Wedge.
