She has never gone to a traditional Vet because I don’t even think I could get her in a carrier, she is that spicy. They were truly a gift from God, and sent by Him to help, encourage, and support us as we navigated new territory with our cat needing an emergency surgery recently. The doctor and nurse to come to our home were wise, knowledgeable, and caring. They worked so well as a team and gave us all the answers to the questions and concerns we had. The nurse even gave us treats for our cat for future use. The receptionist at BlueSky was also vital in our cat receiving her emergency surgery by giving us the information on a clinic we could book with that was nearby our home. She was very kind and encouraging, giving us the reassurance that our cat would be okay and will get what she needed. We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Lucas was patient and thorough with the examination and I learned things I didn't know about Boba to help me keep an eye on her health better. Cameron was great with cleaning Boba's ears and handled her with patience as well. Amazing team, amazing care! She has never gone to a traditional Vet because I don’t even think I could get her in a carrier, she is that spicy. They were able to get her vaccinated and were willing to come back for a second round to do testing. She kicked out 3 of their needles but they were patient and kept trying. I feel really good working with them as they seem to care and are upfront and willing to explain everything to me. They were exactly the service I was looking for.

They were truly a gift from God, and sent by Him to help, encourage, and support us as we navigated new territory with our cat needing an emergency surgery recently. The doctor and nurse to come to our home were wise, knowledgeable, and caring. They worked so well as a team and gave us all the answers to the questions and concerns we had. The nurse even gave us treats for our cat for future use. The receptionist at BlueSky was also vital in our cat receiving her emergency surgery by giving us the information on a clinic we could book with that was nearby our home. She was very kind and encouraging, giving us the reassurance that our cat would be okay and will get what she needed. We are really grateful for this care team and would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance for their pets in their home.

We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Lucas was patient and thorough with the examination and I learned things I didn't know about Boba to help me keep an eye on her health better. Cameron was great with cleaning Boba's ears and handled her with patience as well. Amazing team, amazing care! She has never gone to a traditional Vet because I don’t even think I could get her in a carrier, she is that spicy. They were truly a gift from God, and sent by Him to help, encourage, and support us as we navigated new territory with our cat needing an emergency surgery recently. The doctor and nurse to come to our home were wise, knowledgeable, and caring. They worked so well as a team and gave us all the answers to the questions and concerns we had. The nurse even gave us treats for our cat for future use. The receptionist at BlueSky was also vital in our cat receiving her emergency surgery by giving us the information on a clinic we could book with that was nearby our home. She was very kind and encouraging, giving us the reassurance that our cat would be okay and will get what she needed. We are really grateful for this care team and would recommend them to anyone who needs assistance for their pets in their home.

We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Lucas was patient and thorough with the examination and I learned things I didn't know about Boba to help me keep an eye on her health better. Cameron was great with cleaning Boba's ears and handled her with patience as well. Amazing team, amazing care! Dr. Kaitlin McDaniel
Veterinarian
Dr. Kaitlin McDaniel is a small animal veterinarian at BlueSky At-Home dedicated to providing thoughtful, science-based care for pets and their families. A graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine, she grew up in mid-Missouri and now cares for companion animals in Chicago. Her professional interests center on preventive medicine, client education, and strengthening the human animal bond through practical, evidence-based treatment plans. Dr. McDaniel is known for her calm, kind approach and her focus on clear communication that helps pet owners feel informed and confident in every decision. Outside of clinical practice, she enjoys traveling and horseback riding, and she values every chance to explore new places. She also serves on the Auxiliary Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo, where she supports conservation, education, and community engagement efforts that reflect her lifelong commitment to animal welfare.
Taylor Crawford
Veterinary Assistant
Taylor Crawford is a Certified Veterinary Technician serving pets and families in Chicago at BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care. Taylor supports the doctor in providing calm, compassionate care in the home, with a special focus on safe handling and low-stress visits. She is certified in Fear Free Handling and is skilled in gentle restraint, blood collection, and creating a soothing environment for pets during exams and treatments. Before joining BlueSky At-Home, Taylor worked as a certified technician and shift lead at Banfield Pet Hospital, The Vets Mobile Services, and GoodVets of Uptown. She earned her Veterinary Technician Certification from Rockford Career College. Taylor is passionate about preventive care and helping pets in medical need, and she brings steady positivity and strong team spirit to every visit. At home, she dotes on her two cats, Atreyu and Arlo, and in her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Tayla Grace
Customer Service Representative
Tayla Grace is a BlueSky At-Home Client Service Representative in Boston and a veterinary technician with experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, and mobile veterinary medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology and plays a key role in triaging patients, coordinating appointment scheduling and routing, managing medical records and prescription requests, and supporting seamless communication between clients and medical teams. Tayla has a strong focus on client guidance during stressful situations and takes care to ensure that pets receive timely, appropriate care. She is especially passionate about mobile veterinary practice, where in-home visits can reduce anxiety, support pets that cannot travel, and improve comfort for both animals and their families. Outside of work, Tayla volunteers with a local dog rescue by interviewing adopter references and transporting dogs, and she spends her free time exploring nature and looking for wildlife in forests, along the coast, and in other outdoor spaces.
Samantha Kinsey
Customer Service Representative
Samantha Kinsey is a Customer Service Representative, supporting BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care with a warm, solutions-focused approach. She manages daily scheduling, record keeping, and prescription requests, and serves as a key communication link between clients, veterinarians, and technicians to help address questions and concerns quickly and clearly. Samantha began her career as a CSR and spent much of her professional life as a veterinary technician in general practice, emergency, and urgent care, including roles with two mobile veterinary teams, where she discovered her passion for house call medicine. She brings well rounded clinical insight and a special interest in exotic pets to every interaction, helping clients feel informed and at ease. Outside of work, Samantha and her boyfriend are avid video game, board game, and movie fans, and at home she stays busy with her rabbit Bastas and two dogs, Link and Wedge.
