She has never gone to a traditional Vet because I don’t even think I could get her in a carrier, she is that spicy. We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Lucas was patient and thorough with the examination and I learned things I didn't know about Boba to help me keep an eye on her health better. Cameron was great with cleaning Boba's ears and handled her with patience as well. Amazing team, amazing care! We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Our dogs have never been on a leash or in a car or crate since arriving at our home. We needed a check up for her and found this beautiful group who was willing to come into the comfort of our home and help us with our needs. We try to keep her ears clean but when she started shaking her head a lot, I was the one having anxiety. We heard about BlueSky starting up and reach out and they were quick to meet with us! Very communicative about their timing on the day of visit and great staff! Lucas and Cameron were so good with Boba, they were loving to her throughout the visit to help alleviate her inevitable anxiety. Lucas was patient and thorough with the examination and I learned things I didn't know about Boba to help me keep an eye on her health better. Cameron was great with cleaning Boba's ears and handled her with patience as well. Amazing team, amazing care! She has never gone to a traditional Vet because I don’t even think I could get her in a carrier, she is that spicy. They were truly a gift from God, and sent by Him to help, encourage, and support us as we navigated new territory with our cat needing an emergency surgery recently. The doctor and nurse to come to our home were wise, knowledgeable, and caring. They worked so well as a team and gave us all the answers to the questions and concerns we had. The nurse even gave us treats for our cat for future use. The receptionist at BlueSky was also vital in our cat receiving her emergency surgery by giving us the information on a clinic we could book with that was nearby our home. She was very kind and encouraging, giving us the reassurance that our cat would be okay and will get what she needed. Dr. Charlene Ferrell White

Veterinarian

Dr. Charlene Ferrell White is a Charlotte, NC based BlueSky At-Home veterinarian who provides individualized, low stress care to pets in the comfort of their own homes. She focuses on anxious and fearful pets, geriatric and hospice care, and incorporates acupuncture to support mobility, pain management, and overall quality of life. Dr. White earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from NC State in 2018 and became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist through the Chi Institute the same year. Her previous experience includes an internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver, general practice at VCA Market Street Animal Hospital in San Diego, and several years in mobile veterinary care with The Vets and Homeward Vet. She is motivated by the chance to give each pet her full attention in a calm setting. Outside of work, she delivers meals to seniors through Meals on Wheels and has visited 27 countries, often as a solo traveler.

Veterinary Assistant

Erin Coffey is a Veterinary Assistant at BlueSky At-Home based in Charlotte who brings extensive experience in both general practice and urgent care medicine to her role. She supports patient care by drawing blood for lab testing, placing IV catheters, administering medications and injections, monitoring anesthesia, performing dental prophylaxis, obtaining radiographs, and guiding clients through tailored treatment plans for their pets. Erin began her career at Banfield Pet Hospital, where 5.5 years in a high-volume small animal practice built her foundation in preventative care, wellness, and client education, before advancing her emergency triage and critical care skills at Petfolk’s urgent care. She holds a bachelor's degree in medical sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, completed animal medicine coursework through Penn Foster, and is Fear Free Certified. Erin has a special interest in end-of-life care, supporting families with calm, compassionate guidance, and enjoys ongoing learning through wildlife medicine and rehabilitation symposiums.

Tayla Grace is a BlueSky At-Home Client Service Representative in Boston and a veterinary technician with experience in general practice, emergency and critical care, and mobile veterinary medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Technology and plays a key role in triaging patients, coordinating appointment scheduling and routing, managing medical records and prescription requests, and supporting seamless communication between clients and medical teams. Tayla has a strong focus on client guidance during stressful situations and takes care to ensure that pets receive timely, appropriate care. She is especially passionate about mobile veterinary practice, where in-home visits can reduce anxiety, support pets that cannot travel, and improve comfort for both animals and their families. Outside of work, Tayla volunteers with a local dog rescue by interviewing adopter references and transporting dogs, and she spends her free time exploring nature and looking for wildlife in forests, along the coast, and in other outdoor spaces.

Samantha Kinsey is a Customer Service Representative, supporting BlueSky At-Home Veterinary Care with a warm, solutions-focused approach. Samantha began her career as a CSR and spent much of her professional life as a veterinary technician in general practice, emergency, and urgent care, including roles with two mobile veterinary teams, where she discovered her passion for house call medicine. She brings well rounded clinical insight and a special interest in exotic pets to every interaction, helping clients feel informed and at ease. Outside of work, Samantha and her boyfriend are avid video game, board game, and movie fans, and at home she stays busy with her rabbit Bastas and two dogs, Link and Wedge
